HOW IS BITHLO FOOD PANTRY DIFFERENT THAN OTHER ORLANDO AREA CHARITIES?
We strive ourselves to provide a seamless process of acquiring food. We make sure that ALL donations go from the donors hands to the community's hands.
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU IMPACT WITHIN YOUR COMMUNITY?
Sometime it's very hard to put a number to the amount of people we serve. But a rough number of clients we serve every time we are open is between 450-550. So an average of 1100 clients a month.
IF I MAKE A DONATION, CAN I DECIDE WHAT MY MONEY IS USED FOR?
You can rest assure that all of your monetary donation will go straight back into the Pantry function. I.E.: Food purchase, Truck rentals and Equipment.
DO I HAVE TO BRING ANY DOCUMENTATION TO RECEIVE FOOD?
NO. Per our partner Second Harvest, we are not allowed to ask for any documentation for you to receive ANY type of help.
HOW OFTEN IS THE PANTRY OPEN?
Our schedule is set to be open for our big events on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month. Now we can open for any emergency, but it is a case by case basis.
HOW DO I OBTAIN AN APPOINTMENT ?
We will open the appointments 24hrs before the event. Head over to the events page and find the event you wish to attend. Then find and select your desired appointment slot.
